1683's Redesigned Website

We completely revised the layout and design for this year.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thumbs up Re: 1683's Redesigned Website

That is a very nice looking design, that renders rather well in IE 5.5, 6.0, 7.0; FF 2.0, and Opera... with only a few small (read: insignificant) errors. In 5.5, the submenu lists show bullets, despite the styling; and IE 7.0 has a bit of trouble in rendering the menu bar's lower corners (the corners appear aligned to the top of the element). Just thought you might want to know... (some simple conditional commenting ought to do the trick quite nicely. instead of the simple if ie, make it conditional to the version of IE, since there are small differences between the versions.)

One more thought: you may want to consider adding a rollover property to the top level navigation links, so that it matches the rest of the design (ie the submenu rollovers.

Overall, it is an extremely nice design, very professional looking, and it's even valid code... Honestly, I hope I don't sound too critical, because it really is a superb website.

PS: Nifty Cube works rather well, huh? I just used it in my last design (not FIRST related)
