Last year they called by name. A LOT of people didn't bring their tickets. It was easier to just identify by username. (Hurray for WAIs!)

Yes, they do call by name. I plan to attend this every year, but always get sidetracked working on something or other. Some team members came back last year and said that one of my tickets had been pulled.
(I missed a free trip to Hawaii or something like that! )

This year, I won't even plan to attend, as I will be volunteering as a Teamwork Judge for the FLL World Festival on Thursday.

I might have to do a new WAI for the opposite reason of going from long hair to short hair, which I haven't had since September.
