And we aren't an official xerox team, but we are generously sponsored and housed by xerox, especially after winning vegas this year

Yeah, isn't that crazy. There's five teams who recieved money from Xerox this year, and all of them are in Galileo.

Re: Galileo Division 2007

Team 1694 is planning on being a really good defense/ramp bot. There may be jokes and snickers looming round the FL Regionals bout us...but we know what to do to improve our robot...and it will be a good bot by the time the championships are over.

From what I see...it's basically a 1:2:2 relationship between Ramp-only, Ringer-only, and Hybrid.

Knowing this...will the matches still end up defensive? With so much great offense, will defense be a factor in the elims? And what does this mean going into Einstein?

I saw them at Waterloo and they were awesome. They can score like nobody's business and can get around defense in a flash.

There are also a lot of high row scorers in this division which will be a plus for the Galileo representatives on Einstein.
So much for going under the radar.

Re: Galileo Division 2007

I'm not sure winning a regional would be considered "under the radar"

Then again, who knows, you don't make yourselves too public so maybe people won't notice right away. I posted in the Newton thread something about 148 (in my opinion, one of the best robots out there) and someone replied "who?"

I just Hope 217,503, and 1126 get together. That would be the championship alliance

Try two. 2056 came out champs at Waterloo and GTR.
Not to mention that they were the #1 pick and #1 Alliance Captain.
As a rookie team.
I believe the expression I'm looking for is WOW!!!

But then again, I suppose coming from the folks at Niagra FIRST, this is to be expected.
