I've attached a PDF of the flyer we will be handing out in Atlanta. It has pictures and all the info you may need. Here is the info for those who can't open a PDF.

8 Wheel Drive – 2 large CIM motors & 2 small CIM motors
Excellent traction conveyor belt tires & Pushing Power OVER 250 lbs
Can Easily climb any ramp—all Western Michigan Regional Ramps conquered
2 speed transmission – with a top speed of 14 ft per second
Autonomous selectable capping for low, middle, & high positions
Multiple offensive and defensive autonomous patterns
Xerox Judges Award 2007—Dynamic Braking enhances scoring & defensive
capability with semi-automatic targeting & scoring on field for ALL positions
Front & rear ringer loading—extremely fast scoring cycle—15 seconds
Arm is able to rotate on a turret & score at any level
Includes: Gyros, Accelerometers, Distance Sensors, and Wheel Encoders

Cool another 8 wheel drive bot on the Curie field. I had only seen 1 other this year besides us.

It's not quite how it sounds. We have one wheel in each of the four corners and then we have two wheels on each side position right next to each other. I don't have a good picture of it but it would look something like this

Regionals: VCU and Palmetto (semi-finalist at both)

Class: arm/ climbing hybrid (since we made that one up in another thread)

Drivetrain: 4 CIMS directed to center wheel of 6 Andy Mark wheels (dropped center)

Arm: telescoping w/ reach at all levels

Other notes:
-ability to climb any ramp as long as it is wide enough
-top 5 scorer at Palmetto
-top scorer at VCU

Team 648

Catagory: Arm/Ramp Climber "Hybrid"

Drivetrain: Crab Steer, 4inch IFI Traction Wheels, all four powered, ability to control at 1/3 speed (accuracy), 2/3 speed (maneuverability), and full speed (um... to go fast!)

Regional: Midwest Finalist, 1st Overall Pick,

Arm: Shoulder pivit w/ Extension and Auto-Wrist Leveling, also programmed to stay within the 72X72 box at all times.

Auton: Have scored keepers on all levels. Use CMU2Cam.
