Changes Allowed?

Team 1766 has been thinking of what improvements we would like to make for the off season events.(IRI in particular) Would we be able to make these changes for these competitions or are there limits to how much your robot can change from the actual season? Any answer is appreciated.

As long as a team stays within the past FRC season rules, it is always allowable for a team to make changes. I have not ever heard of an off-season FRC event that would restrict changes. At IRI, I expect to see teams who have made changes to improve their robots. This is allowed and encouraged, and teams are trusted to police themselves with regard to following the 2007 FRC rules.

Going on what Andy said, most competitions do encourage teams to improve their robot to bring it to its full potential.

Most off season events use the honor system regarding size and weight of your robot, so make sure you keep it within the rules...teams are trusting you
