Not to mention a FREE event two weeks earlier (May 5th) at the Air and Space Museum (in DC). Space Day 2007 will feature several area FRC teams running FIRST, Robotics, Vex, and Space related displays/activities.

The "petting zoo" is really a 10'x10' field where anyone can drive vex bots in a simple game. Don't ask me how or why it got that name.

Petting Zoo translates easily to parents as:
hands on
children welcome
f-u-n

and as an aside, recruits can easily be 'corralled'.

Sounds like a great event and a perfect environment to showcase FIRST.

Have fun.
