Re: Pittsburgh Regional info needed: pit size (title was "Help!")

FIRST has only guaranteed 8 x 8 in the past years. All sizes are conditional on Pit area and the number of teams registered.

Steve, can you source that info? I don't see any guarantee at all in this year's manual, nor any mention of 8 feet.

If you check the FIRST Q&A boards I recall an 8' x 8' size also. . .

Team Station at NJ, NYC Regionals
Posted by FRC1807 at 02/25/2007 10:19:57 am
We would like to use an aluminum "tent" structure in our team station / pit area at the NJ and
NYC regionals, to help us organize our materials, etc. The structure is 10' x 10' (it will be less
than 10' tall).
Will the space at the NJ and NYC regionals accommodate this, or will it infringe upon others?

Per section 3.7.4.3, each team is allotted approximately the same amount of workspace,
usually about 10' by 10'. Be sure your equipment will fit in a space smaller than those
dimensions.
