Re: 2007 NFL Pick-em: Week 2
Sunday
Indianapolis at Tennessee Let's see Vince Young try and keep up with Peyton and Co. Green Bay at New York Giants Packers get the edge with the better D. Not to mention they're doing better health wise. Cincinnati at Cleveland Quinn time? Possible after Frye got dealt. Still have to go with the Bengals. Houston at Carolina Houston is starting to impress. Let's see how they handle Steve Smith before they become a possible Wild Card playoff team. New Orleans at Tampa Bay Buccaneers are heading for another Top 5 draft pick. Buffalo at Pittsburgh Roehtlisberger was impressive (granted it was against the Browns). Now he gets to torch a young Bills secondary. Atlanta at Jacksonville I wonder how long before the Jaguars regret letting Leftwich go. Run Jaguars run. San Francisco at St Louis Tough pick of the week. Rams gave up the win to Carolina, while the 49ers had an impressive comeback against Cardinals. Tiebreaker: home field advantage. Breakout game for Bulger, Jackson, and Holt? Minnesota at Detroit Adrian "All Day" Peterson for the win. Seattle at Arizona Leinart sucks under pressure, but Seattle's receiving corps is still underachieving/injured. Arizona's D is the game-breaker in favor of Seattle. Dallas at Miami Romo and T.O. light up the score board at Miami. Kansas City at Chicago One of the few defenses that can't make Grossman lose the game for the Bears. New York Jets at Baltimore Stupid Jets fans, booing Pennington after he got injured . Karma's going to destroy your season now.Oakland at Denver Not confident in the Raiders yet. San Diego at New England Cross-country trip for Chargers. Chargers didn't improve the team, Patriots re-vamped their offense. Chargers don't have the Lights Out dance for Patriots to mimic. Edge: Patriots. Monday Washington at Philadelphia Please don't screw this one up Eagles special team . |

Re: 2007 NFL Pick-em: Week 2
Sunday
Indianapolis at Tennessee - Go Titans, though. Chris Brown - don't be a fluke. Green Bay at New York Giants - Please, Donnie Driver, torch the pathetic Giants secondary. Giants are torn up with injuries - Burress may be less effective with Lorenzen running the show. That Ward kid seems pretty good as a replacement to Jacobs, though. Cincinnati at Cleveland - I picked up the Cincy D in one FF league just for this game. Let's hope Derek Anderson is the one getting buried - no need to rush Quinn until the offensive line has a chance to stabilize. Houston at Carolina New Orleans at Tampa Bay - Brees and Colston can't possibly be as bad as they were last week. Although the NO D is welcome to let Joey Galloway go wild. Buffalo at Pittsburgh - Lee Evans actually shows up, though. Atlanta at Jacksonville - Uh Jack Del Rio, perhaps you might actually want to give the ball to Maurice Jones-Drew this game? San Francisco at St Louis - Jeff Wilkins kicks 5 47-yard field goals. Orlando Pace out for the year....again. No Todd Steussie to replace him. Will Bulger's protection (and Jackson's production) suffer? Minnesota at Detroit - Because Minnesota is boring. Just keep throwing, Kitna. You have 9 more wins to go before you prove yourself right..... Seattle at Arizona - Leinart looked lost last night. Plus Seattle's getting The Equalizer in a trade.....CHARLIE FRYE!!! OH YEAH, SUPER BOWL BOUND. Dallas at Miami - Although I certainly would laugh if Dallas' so-called defense continued its abysmal play. Maybe Jerry Jones actually WILL take over the D-coordinator position ala the commercial.... Couldn't do any worse. Kansas City at Chicago - NYJ to Chicago front office - "No, you can't have Thomas Jones back." New York Jets at Baltimore - Because they can't possibly be as dismal as they were against Cincinnati (although I wish the trend would continue - Ratbirds drool!). Oakland at Denver - What the heck. San Diego at New England - Although I'd certainly love for SD to stuff the cheatin' signal-stealin' Patriots into the nearest trash can. I bet Josh Beckett keeps a fingernail file and some Vasoline in his cap, too. Monday Washington at Philadelphia - Hopefully McNabb blows up (in a statistical, not physical, sense). Is Randle El the real deal as Washington's #2? Last edited by Travis Hoffman : 11-09-2007 at 16:06. |

Indianapolis at Tennessee come on...really? Green Bay at New York Giants if eli has another game like he did against the cowboys, they are gonna be good. Cincinnati at Cleveland palmer for 5tds Houston at Carolina carolina is good, but i think houston will sneak up on them. New Orleans at Tampa Bay brees is out to prove something now. Buffalo at Pittsburgh this is going to be a good game but i think that the bills willpull it out Atlanta at Jacksonville joey will have a good game this week, considering they are playing the lowly jags. San Francisco at St Louis if st louis plays they way they did last week, san fran will dominate. Minnesota at Detroit kitna, williams, johnson, furrey, mcdonald, bell.....wow what an offence. Seattle at Arizona i like arizona but i think the seahawks will pull it out. Dallas at Miami romo wont put up those numbers vs. a real defence this week. Kansas City at Chicago asmuch as i hate it to pick them, they are going to beat KC. they are bad. New York Jets at Baltimore only if mcnair comes back. if not i think the jets will win. Oakland at Denver denver hasa decent offence, so they will beat them with it. San Diego at New England this is going to be a game right here ladies and gentalment. Monday Washington at Philadelphia who cares, phili cant beat greenbay, and the redskins are bad. |

Indianapolis at Tennessee I'm still high from the win against Jackonsville. The Titans probably won't win this one, but I'd really like to be wrong. Green Bay at New York Giants Hard game to pick, but apparently Eli's out for a month?? Cincinnati at Cleveland LOL. Cinci will rock the stinkfest that is Brown. Houston at Carolina Another tough game to pick, but Carolina will probably win. New Orleans at Tampa Bay I still think NO is good... Buffalo at Pittsburgh Buffalo is lousy... Atlanta at Jacksonville See the previous explanation, insert Jacksonville as a decent team. San Francisco at St Louis StL is going to run on SF. Minnesota at Detroit Detroit playing okay, Minnesota I think will win it, though. Seattle at Arizona Matt Leinart = suck... just my personal opinion. Dallas at Miami LOL. No doubts in this one. Kansas City at Chicago I hate Chicago, but I can't afford to lose this point. New York Jets at Baltimore I like Baltimore in this one... the Jets got manhandled on Sunday. Oakland at Denver Jay Cutler, from that University in Tennessee that isn't The University of Tennessee or any affiliate. I almost went to Vandy. San Diego at New England Gonna be a good game, but New England on top. Monday Washington at Philadelphia Eenie-meanie-minee-moe.... |

Giants are saying he's day-to-day. However the report from ESPN is that Eli has a separated shoulder, and possibly a torn labrum. Here's the report on ESPN.com: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3013266 |

Re: 2007 NFL Pick-em: Week 2

Indianapolis at Tennessee The Colts won't waste time messing around withthe Titans. Green Bay at New York Giants Injuries will doom the Giants. Cincinnati at Cleveland Browns suffer from quarterback envy. Make 12 turnovers due to staring over at the Bengals sideline at Carson Palmer and daydreaming about having a real quarterback. Houston at Carolina Congrats Hiuston on your week 1 victory! Now take your proper place at the bottom of the league! New Orleans at Tampa Bay Saints bounce back bigtime! Buffalo at Pittsburgh The Bills are decimated physically and mentally. This will be over by the end of the first quarter. Atlanta at Jacksonville Jags take it up a notch. San Francisco at St Louis When in doubt, take the home team. Minnesota at Detroit See above prediction. Seattle at Arizona Same here. Dallas at Miami Dallas looks rock solid on offense. If Miami actually had a potnet offense I'mm sure I'd be concerned about their defense. Kansas City at Chicago Bear annihilate Chiefs. New York Jets at Baltimore Ravens impose their will in the Jets. Oakland at Denver Until Oaklamd can show constancy on offense I will not pick them under any circimstances! San Diego at New England Chargers learn that as good as they are there is a whole other level to climb to. Monday Washington at Philadelphia Eagles bounce back strong. |

Re: 2007 NFL Pick-em: Week 2

Indianapolis at Tennessee yeah. Green Bay at New York Giants GB looked good against the Eagles, they'll look great against the Giants. Cincinnati at Cleveland that's funny. Houston at Carolina meow New Orleans at Tampa Bay Saints got their loss out of the way.... Buffalo at Pittsburgh Buffalo will be a very good team, but not this year. Atlanta at Jacksonville Two teams looking for an identity; one has Maurice Jones-Drew. San Francisco at St Louis With Mike Martz gone, STL knows how to use a running back. Minnesota at Detroit Highest scoring game of the weekend. Seattle at Arizona Upset special. Arizona steals one while Seattle looks ahead. Dallas at Miami Akin Ayodele + Jacques Reeves = 2 Boilermakers = win! Kansas City at Chicago Final score: 10-6. That's turnovers, not points. New York Jets at Baltimore My fantasy team needs McNair and McGahee to remember how to hold on to the ball. Oakland at Denver McCown? Are you serious? San Diego at New England When in doubt, go with the home team. Monday Washington at Philadelphia Another barn burner. Last edited by Taylor : 11-09-2007 at 20:57. Reason: forgot the KC/CHI game |
