Inventor 2008 files in Inventor 11
I don't know if anyone else has been having this problem or not, I Googled it and got nothing...
With the start of the new school year our school computer labs were upgraded to Inventor 2008, but a lot of team members are using copies of Inventor 11. So we save files that we initially made in Inventor 11 in Inventor 2008 after we changed something or whatever, and when we go to open it in Inventor 11, you get the error "Database Schema is newer than this version of the software". Just warning everyone before build season gets underway, and if anyone has any advice on how to fix the problem please let me know. |

Re: Inventor 2008 files in Inventor 11
You can get them back into Inventor 11, as a last resort, by exporting them as a generic solid model format -- IGES, STEP, etc. -- and loading those into v. 11.
You'll lose all of the features, though. |
