2008 Finger Lakes Regional

MOE 365 has grabbed one of the last slots for FLR! We had a great time last year and expect the same again in 2008. Looking forward to seeing and playing with y'all.

As far as I know Fairport HS/Minerva HS (578) will be there. They like to register for their travel regional first and then the local one.

The regional is filled (2 more than last year) & you guys aren't on the list.

Apparently Victor made the same exact move as my team did. I know for certain that it's very expensive for Fairport's team to travel anywhere, because of the massive team size of 60 students.

Fairports aware of the problem, and they are going to try and see what they can do within the next week. Accepting such a large team is going to be very challenging for Finger Lakes so we will see what happens. Hopefully Fairport/Victor can get in, they are 20 minutes away from the RIT Campus.

Team 2228 has a project to make trading cards of all the FLR teams. They passed out a flier at the Rochester Rally on Feb 18. Here is the link to the download page on their website where you can find the details. FIRST always seems to expand the capacity of the regionals a little later so don't give up yet if you don't get in.

Now added is the HOT team, 67. I can't belive how many great teams are going to be at FLR this year. What a great year this is going to be, I hope the game allows for some great competition!
