Smile Buses at the Florida Regional

Hey,
We are having trouble trying to find School buses to rent when we are down at the Florida Regional. Does anyone know of any company or school that would be able to move us around from the airport, the hotel at Disney, and UCF.

Anyone know of a company.

Re: Buses at the Florida Regional

I know that Mears is a big charter bus company around the Orlando area.

Try "Googling" Charter Bus Orlando. You are sure to get a ton of hits.

Good luck. We'll see you there.

Re: Buses at the Florida Regional

just curious, why school buses instead of charters? Because it's cheaper?

Not to dwell on semantics, but asking for a "school bus" rather than a "charter bus" is going to rule out most if not all of the companies that would serve you.

When you're paying for it to drive you around, a big yellow bus with uncomfortable seats, no air conditioning and no bathroom is still a charter bus. Charter bus companies often will have levels of service that you can choose from. Be sure to call companies and ask specifically for what you want.

Also, if you are staying at a Disney hotel, I've found that their concierge services are extremely helpful, especially for groups. So try calling your group's contact there.

Good luck,
~Phil

Re: Buses at the Florida Regional

Call local car dealer (Ford or Dodge) or rental company and ask for a 19 passenger rental van.

A few of those would probably do you fine and they can be had for around $200 to $250 for the week ...
