Dean's Homework
Fittingly enough, one of the two NEMO presentations I gave at the kickoff workshops yesterday was on Communicating with the Community - and I included suggestions on media outreach (and no, I didn't know about Dean's homework in advance). At the end of the Powerpoint presentation is a template for FRC teams to use when creating press releases, written by and published with the permission of Marian Murphy, FIRST Communications Manager.
I also gave a presentation on Communicating with Your team. Both presentations should be viewed with the notes visible. They are published on the NEMO website resources section at www.firstnemo.org/resources.htm.
