Updated Java tool?

We tried to use LabView, but changing the settings and uploading them to the camera apparently doesn't work for us (changing values doesn't have any effect on the image grabs). So, we started using a free Java tool we found somewhere. But the problem is the Java tool doesn't have fields to change many of the settings (brightness, contrast, etc...). Is there an updated Java tool that allows you to change as many camera settings as LabView does?

Thanks,
Nathan
