Help with Inventor Files of Toughbox Mounting

I have been unable to find any technical drawings or cad files of the new mounting system for the toughbox gearboxes.

If anyone has dimensions of either of the 2 pieces please help me out.

The only thing i have to go from right now is this picture:

Unfortunately the parts are locked up for the weekend and i can't measure them, any help is appreciated

Thanks,
-Adam Bochek

Thank you, i did look there but overlooked the exact link... For reference the 2 pieces come in a STEP file by following the

Re: Help with Inventor Files of Toughbox Mounting

After mounting the Toughboxes onto the frame, I've noticed a few issues for our design. Compared to the Banebots long shaft to bearing blocks from last year, the Toughboxes have 1.658" output shaft. We only have room for one 15 tooth sprocket (0.75 " shaft side width) due to aligning the chain with either side of a 1" AndyMark Wheel.

The next best option for four wheel drive is to route a chain (or belt) from the connected wheel to the next wheel.

I have two questions.
What are simple ways to extend the output shaft ? (shaft couplers , using the 1/4-20 threads ... etc. )

Can the Toughbox operate effectively without a supporting bearing block on the standard output shaft ?

Re: Help with Inventor Files of Toughbox Mounting

Could you use one chain for both wheels? Or have one of the wheels offset a little so you could put another sprocket on the gearbox and have it go to the same side on the second wheel?

The toughbox will be fine without a supporting bearing as long as there is not a lot of load at the end of the shaft (i.e. cantilever wheel maunted directly on the output shaft, or sprocket on the end of the shaft and the chain wayy too tight). The Banebots needed a support bearing because the shaft was so long, and the nature of planetary gearboxes meant that it wasn't supported as well inside the gearbox.

It might be possible to fit two sprockets with the wheels slightly offset. I think our team will just settle for driving on traction wheel and having another separate chain from the traction wheel connecting to the omni wheel.

Thanks for your help !
