I would like to know if we can cut holes in our bumpers/plywood. We have learned that the need to be built within rule RO8 specifications but we did not find anything that clearly stated whether or not we could cut holes in the bumpers

The only holes you can put in the plywood is for the fasteners. Check the Q & A. Quote from today's answers:
"Lightening pockets, non-mounting holes, "swiss-cheesing," or other modifications to the bumper design provided in Rule <R08> are not permitted. These holes would affect the structural integrity of the bumpers, which could defeat their entire purpose." |

we checked the rules for our robot and we have removed a segment in the rear bumber so we can fiddle with the controller easier
so its kinda like this [====] space [===============] |
