What's powering the catapult? I don't see or hear any pneumatics so I'd have to guess a spring. Impressive though, it takes alot of energy to get the ball at a decent height. Our team built a prototype pneumatic catapult but it fails, launching only a couple of feet forward. We went with something else... But good luck with your design.
