SMC Sonenoid

On the SMC double solenoid, do you need a thread to tube connector (I know it doesn't have a tube coming out of it) in port EB?

It was on the diagram in the pnuematics manual. We would like to take them off for the weight, but im not sure it they are needed.

Nah, you don't have to connect anything to the exhaust ports. We do, though, so that we can direct the air blasts away from people or robot parts.
