Red face Yaw rate sensor help

I'm trying to implement a yaw rate sensor for the purpose of keeping our mechainum (or however you spell it) wheels from driving in random directions. The issue is that I have no clue as to how to extract a value from robotc. Is this digital or analog and what type of 'sensor' is this in robotc.
Thanks

Re: Yaw rate sensor help

The YRG is an analog sensor. If you're interested in knowing your relative heading, then you want to use it as a gyro. If you want to know your rotational velocity, then you want to just get the raw value. Use the sensor wizard to set it up. Post on the RobotC forum if you're still having trouble, or drop one of your friendly Senior Mentors a line.
