noisy ADCs on ports

Hi, We were just finishing up some teleoperated code and we realized that the raw byte values frome the p1_x and p1_y jump link crazy....maybe +/-10. I was wondering if anyone else has expereinced the same problem. For example if 2.5v is connected to the port...127+/-10 would be the readout.

Does anyone know if the the outputs of the ADC inputs are just as noisy?
