Making Wires Translucent
I'm in the process of making the Pneumatic tubing for our bot and I'm making it out of wire runs. But here's the thing. I make the wires and segments both Green (Clear), deselecting the "From Loom" option, and yet they still appear solid. How can I make them clear?
EDIT: I think I need to make my own wire style because I'm currently using some generic electrical wire. That can't be good. I need to make a style thats hollow and clear but I have no idea how. If anybody has any experience with this and can help I'd be much obliged. Last edited by Gherkinman : 19-02-2008 at 19:14. |

Re: Making Wires Translucent
Its a late reply, but what you could do is make up your own material.
Go to Surface styles in Studio and create a green material and turn the opacity down, then apply this material to the wires. |
