2358 introduces "Smokey"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HV9tcgaWDnk

About our Robot:
The video posted above shows our robot launching the ball 10' vertically in the air. We used no pneumatics on our robot. This past weekend has been a mad rush to get it driving straight and firing reliably, which it now does.

About our Team:
Team 2358 is a rookie team based out of Lake Zurich High School in Lake Zurich, Illinois. We are sponsored by MPC Products. We are about 30+ active students with about 6 mentors.

p.s. although its called "Smokey," it has never sparked or started a fire.(/me knocks on bumper wood that it never will) Our school mascot is the bear.
