Starting a new FRC team in Mandeville, Louisiana
I am working to start a team in Mandeville, Louisiana. Last year, I was part of team 1477, in Texas, but i moved to LA this year. I joined a team at another high school, but i really want to make a team at my new school. I am working with my parents and the school to get the word out to students and parents, trying to get people interested. I am trying to make a video to put on the morning announcements about making a robotics club, which would be the FRC team.
What i need though is potential mentors, coaches, sponsors, or what ever i can get. Team 1477 has graciously decided to long-distance mentor us, and to help us get started. I have also received word that a team from slidell, LA would be willing to mentor us too. Any help, suggestions, or anything would be most appreciated!  Last edited by ehcualp : 21-04-2008 at 00:03.
