Robotics Event in the UK

Hi All

I've just heard from our mentors that BAE Systems UK will be sponsoring a 1 day robotics competition at the Farnborough International Air Show on July 18 2008. They read an email that also said that some teams from the US will also be attending this event. Just wondering whether anyone has heard anything about this. Team 1884 hope to get more people interested in First in the UK and start more teams for next season.

Boy, that would be one expensive trip for a one day event.

Re: Robotics Event in the UK

We've been giving the UK group advice on how to run an off-season event (documents, technical advice), but I had not heard anything about US teams attending.

Sounds like it would be a fun summertime trip, if a team could afford it.

Very cool if its true.
