2008 Farnborough International Air Show

We are pleased to announce that Teams 341, 217 and 122 in cooperation with BAE Systems and FIRST UK will hold robot demonstrations and sharing sessions at the 2008 Farnborough International Air Show in Hampshire UK this week.
Miss Daisy and the Thunder Chickens will hold sessions on International Youth Day, July 18th and then be joined by several UK Teams for a full field demonstration on Saturday 7/19 and Sunday 7/20. Representatives from Team 122, The NASA Knights, will be providing important logistical support for this event.

The 2008 Farnborough International Air Show is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious international air shows. Over 250,000 people from 35 nations will visit the show to view cutting edge advances in flight technology. Here is a link to the Farnborough International Air Show site ---> http://www.farnborough.com/Site/Content/intro.aspx

We are extremely grateful to BAE Systems and FIRST UK for this opportunity and honored to be working with the Thunder Chickens, NASA Knights and the UK teams on this important effort.

Safe travels to everyone flying to the Air Show this week!
