National Instruments FREE "How to teach LabVIEW 8" Workshop - Flint MI Sat 9/6/08

For teams in and around the LP of Michigan, National Instruments will be offering a one day FREE "LabVIEW 8 Campus Workshop", to teach mentors how to teach LabVIEW to their students. Seminar link: http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/nievn.n... untry=US&l=US

Summary:
Place - Auditorium, Baker College, Flint MI (see below for map)
Date - Saturday, September 6, 2008, 9AM-5PM
Event - FREE "How to Teach LabVIEW 8 to your Students" Workshop

Note that this is DIFFERENT from the Frog Force seminar. The FF event is a repackaging of the three day "LabVIEW Basics I" *professional* course, into three successive Saturdays starting late September. That gets much further into the nitty-gritty of the LabVIEW construction environment itself.

This one will also have hands-on work, but is intended for teachers and mentors, so as I understand it will focus more on general techniques and methods. I highly recommend having team representatives attend BOTH of these events!

IMPORTANT NOTE - Patel later emailed me and said their registration link is broken, so please email Krupa directly to register, at: krupa.patel@ni.com

I've included Krupa's original email to me below, for the details.

Go Teams!

I wanted to let you know about an event that National Instruments is holding at Baker College of Flint on September 6, 2008. We will host a training for FIRST mentors on How to Teach LabVIEW to their teams. I'm including the text of our invitation below - Please feel free to share this with other mentors or teams you think may be interested. Please let me know if you have any questions about the event or how to register.

Thanks!
Krupa Patel
