Hi all,

Quick intro -- my name is Neil, and I'm the new mentor for team 1889 (the Haze) in Wellington, FL. I'm taking over from Gary Dillard who's in the process of a job-related move out of the area. BTW, thanks Gary! I'm a local business owner (manufacturing automotive instrumentation/datalogging systems). I look forward to much techie/geeky discussions with you all, and meeting you all at the competitions.

I hope your team gets to travel up to GA for the GA Regional. It's lots of fun. Also, I'm sure you know this, but Chief Delphi is the best place to get great information, they generally have forums on the latest news and updates. Check it daily to stay in the loop.

Yes, I've noticed that there's a wealth of info on here, and I've already printed out the list of fundraising ideas. (Last year we apparently did not have the funds to participate in the competitions , so this year I'm making fundraising a priority). The goal is to make it all the way to the finals this year!

It was sad to see that 1889 did not return last year, but it is much more exciting to see that you guys will (hopefully) be returning for the 2009 season.
