**FIRST EMAIL**/10/14 Coaches' Call - FLL Judging Perspective
Out to FLL Teams...
Greetings FLL Teams: Whether you're a rookie or veteran team, we know how intimidating the judging process can seem. In an effort to serve you better, we at /FIRST /and LEGO identified a Global Judge Advisor for the overall /FIRST /LEGO League program earlier this year. His name is Skip Gridley and you can read about him here: http://firstlegoleague.org/community...ge.aspx?id=282. Having been an FLL volunteer for five years, Skip is extremely knowledgeable about the judging process and understands that the team experience comes first. Behind-the-scenes, Skip has been improving the training materials that we at FLL Headquarters provide to our judges around the globe, in addition to updating his Judges' Blog on the FLL Social Site with valuable information for all of you (http://firstlegoleague.org/community...udgeblog.aspx). Skip has also been responding to the tremendously supportive emails you've been sending him via flljudge@usfirst.org <mailto:flljudge@usfirst.org>. Since we've received such a positive response regarding Skip's role, and also from the Coaches' Calls that our Senior Mentors have been facilitating, we tapped Skip to co-facilitate the upcoming Coaches' Call with the /FIRST /Senior Mentor from NYC, Kristian Breton. Please join Skip and Kristian on Tuesday, *October 14th at 7pm Eastern* for a review of the FLL Judging Perspective. If you are unable to snag one of the 150 lines available for this call, it will be recorded and available for download from the following link: http://www.usfirst.org/community/fll....aspx?id=10054.
