5 Years on Mars

Just saw a commercial for a show on Nat Geo. Check out 5 Years On Mars Sunday night at 8pm (eastern?). Spirit and Opportunity were sent on their 90 day missions nearly 5 years ago and have kept going ... and going ... and going (wish I had an energizer bunny graphic) ...

This should be a very interesting show. I'll have my recorder on.

They just keep going and going.

Spirit and Opportunity have outstripped the Energizer Bunny, and the Starship Enterprise.

They are now travelling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead ...

I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.
