**FIRST EMAIL**/Senior Mentor Call - The Chairman's Award

Greetings Teams:

Mark your Calendars! The FIRST Senior Mentors are pleased to announce they will be hosting the third in a series of important Teleconference calls for FRC Team mentors and coaches this coming Wednesday, November 12, at 7 pm EST.

This call features a discussion regarding the The Chairman’s Award and includes an overview of the entire application and preparation process with suggestions for useful resources.

This call will be hosted by FIRST Senior Mentors Allan Cameron and Fredi Lajvardi from Carl Hayden High School Falcon Robotics, Team 842 the 2008 FIRST Championship Chairman’s Award Winning team. You can’t get much better than that!

All FRC Team mentors and coaches are welcome. The call in number is 1-800-503-2899. The Access number is 6663906.

We will have 150 lines available, so lines are on a "first come, first served" basis. We suggest calling in approximately 5 minutes before the teleconference is scheduled start. Please plan to join the conference call this week if you have applied for a NASA Grant. NASA Grant recipients MUST submit a Chairman's Award entry. So if you are awarded a NASA Grant then you need to be prepared for a Chairman's Award submission. NASA Grant winners are announced by region on November 12 at http://robotics.nasa.gov
