based on last year we will either get hint #2 6 day's after the first one. (12/11/08) or on the 21st of dec. I'm betting on the 11th personally, but it might be as late as the 21st.

I think it will be a closeup image of something used on the field. In the game with the rings it was a close up image of the rack and a ring.

By predicting the next hint (if there is one) in a public forum, does one not create a bias as to when the next hint will be released???

But then again... the GDC is way too smart to be fooled by that one, aren't they?

None-the-less, my guess:

Hint 2: A poem, limerick, rhyme, & or just a random grouping of words, not so much a "famous" quote, but one that will become infamous by the time the new game rolls around within the FIRST community.

5 if you want to count the ever lasting constant in all this craziness... The image they show behind the Suppliers when they announce them at Kickoff.

Take a look at Kickoff vids of years gone by. You'll see what I mean. (I even posted my own riddle about that myself a few years back when I noticed that subtle fact)
I was at Kickoff in NH this year (2008), & was thrown for a loop seeing the engine in the background. No clue what that referenced.
It was pretty nice, & better than floating spheres which would have been the all too obvious choice.
