Drive train for 2009 game

Out of pure curiosity I was wondering about other teams and why they use omni, tank, etc..

Does your team always use one or the other?
Does it change for each game?
-If so, how do you decide which set up?
Do make the same decisions about the control system?
-One vs two controllers?
-Arm controls?
-Misc. controls?
After reading this post will your team think about changing the way they make these decision?
Anything else?
Do you use design matrices?(Or another type of design table/chart?)

Thanks for reading.
