Re: practice

My first reccomendation is you need to build a trailer using the instructions found on FIRST website. Then using extrusion, wood, or some other material you can simulate the height of the wall at the fueling station or the outpost in order to practice shooting into the trailer. Don't forget to have someone or a robot move the trailer around so that you can practice shooting at a moving target.

Re: practice

Judging by the fact that your team # is lower then mine and we played last season, I'm going to assume you still have last years bot around. What we plan on doing is ghetto rigging our trailer (yeah we call it ghetto rigging) it to the back of our overdrive bot and find an open spot and have someone control the overdrive bot and run around while our driver has to try to score.

Smile Re: practice

I'd build a trailer, set it at a distance and shoot into it. Maybe even put up a "wall" of plexi-glass or something so that u have to practice shooting at the same height as the wall during competition. Then, I'd put it on wheels and try it as a moving target (attached to chassis or old robot **mentioned above). If u turn it into a competition (person scoring most goals gets something) there might be more motivation for everyone to give it a try.

good luck
