whats up with the demo program...?
Anybody have any news on the demo/ virtual lunacy game from Lockhead Martin... I really wanna give it a try!!

I work at the same site as the guys who made the simulation. Not only did they sign an NDA ahead of time, but they refuse to let me even peek at the simulation ahead of launch. They did tell me that if you choose so, there will be 5 other robots controlled by AI to contend with...so I'm looking forward to it coming out. Also, this year I don't believe there are any 'fancy' drive trains, but the current hope/plan is that future years will have holonomic drives.
Their projected launch date is January 20th. Now keep in mind, this is unofficial and not from FIRST so that date may change! This is so that the simulation does not influence the basis of a team's design. Last edited by JesseK : 09-01-2009 at 21:01.
