Driver Station Login
Looking at the serial port of the DS to see if i can browse the /dev/ folder and see how my usb devices mount and out of curiosity. Problem is there is a login as always with linux. Anyone know the login? There is no reson we can't use other benifets of linux, including writing our own driver and building our own kernel right? :3

Re: Driver Station Login
There indeed is a good reason not to let teams meddle with the programming of the Driver Station: safety. If you manage to modify it to ignore the "disable" or "emergency stop" commands from the field control system, you've set the stage for an out-of-control robot rampage.

Re: Driver Station Login
yes yes yes, but think of all the fun you will have!
I'm guessing we can use system commands in our c++ programming then tough? I guess after the compilation i can re-flash it with my own image and then have some fun :3. |
