I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who feels that way.

It's absolutely ridiculous that they can't just release a codec and allow us to use any player we want to play quicktime movies. I can find just as many reasons to hate apple and all the proprietary "use only our hardware and software" games they play as I can with windows.
