Re: Music Ideas To Get the Crowd Excited

I think in the past the DJs had an approved list of songs that could be played at an event; you might want to look at that list. You wouldn't want to offend anyone. If a song can't be played on the radio, it probably shouldn't be played in the pits.

Drum and Bass is always good, try these albums

Dieselboy - Substance D
AK1200 & Gridlok - Autopsy
Andy C - Nightlife 4

Detroit Techno is awesome as well (real techno, not trance and the other garbage people think is techno)

Richie Hawtin - Decks, EFX & 909
Kevin Saunderson - X-Mix: Transmission From Deep Space Radio
Jeff Mills - Live at the Liquid Room - Tokyo

Crowd chant by Joe Satriani, or anything else by him.

Well I know I'm going to be blasting Green Day (most likely against the will of my team) but that's just because of my obsession...

Wow I can't think of anything else.

Any of the In Search Of Sunrise albums put together by Dj Tiesto, just keep playing that and the crowd will love you, nobody can hate that!

Generational Trance is always good if you just want an hour of non-stop techno. Daft Punk's also good too.
