Pittsburgh Regional

Good Morning,

I am the LRI for the Pittsburgh Regional. I've been trying to develop a contact list for all teams that will be attending our regional. I have 37 teams on the list provided by FIRST. Trying to find Addy's for the teams that are valid is becoming quite a challenge.

My intent is to keep communications open with all the teams so we can hopefully defuse as much stress as possible during inspections for everyone.

Soo.. I'm requesting that any team attending the Pittsburgh Regional send me their contact information to: daviddujmic@yahoo.com. This information will remain in my personal file and will not be shared with the public. If you request NOT to have your Addy disclosed in the sea of addy's at the top of an e-mail, just let me know. I understand and will send single e-mails to those contacts.

Good Luck,

Dave Dujmic

Re: Pittsburgh Regional

So.....who's all ready for the 2009 Pittsburgh Regional? 48 will be there as usual, as will two of our NEOFRA partner teams from Buckeye, 379 and 2901. Who else?

48 and 291 are co-sponsoring the Pittsburgh Regional webcast. 48 will mainly produce it onsite - it will be available at http://live.delphielite.com and most likely be incorporated into SOAP Gameday at http://gameday.mttkllr.com.

1743 will be making our fourth consecutive appearance at Pittsburgh, and we're more excited than ever. I am Looking Forward to seeing lots of old friends, not the least of which being the fabulous Wayne Penn. Many thanks to 48 and 291 for providing the webcast so my family will be able to watch the event all the way from California.

Re: Pittsburgh Regional

EHOVE Mavericks 2252 will be there for our second year. We're going into Pittsburgh with no technical issues, which is kind of a nice change for us. It's a fast-paced event, and this year we're ready!

Dave, I think you've got all of our contact info - if not let me know.

Not to hijack the thread, but do the WPA keys differ for each regional, or do teams "own" the same key for the whole season? We've got our key loaded from the Buckeye Regional; I'm just wondering if we need to plan on loading a different one on Thursday morning. Thanks!

New keys are generated at each regional. You'll have to load a new one in Pittsburgh and have your software inspected, but since you've got the updates installed it shouldn't take much time.

Good luck Joey and 1743, as well as 48 and all of 1038's friends. Make sure and give Wayne a hello from us.

Re: Pittsburgh Regional

222 can't wait for Pittsburgh! We've been hooked on Pittsburgh since our first visit there in 2007. The teams there are all great, the venue is very nice and we get to have Wayne Penn as an MC. We'll be leaving our school tomorrow morning so we can get an afternoon of tourist activities in before diving head first into Lunacy. Safe travels to all teams!

Do those tourist activities include a stop at Primanti's? Visitors always love those sandwiches, for whatever reason.

To be honest I don't know exactly what tourist things we are doing ,but I've always wanted to try one of their sandwiches.
