Sensors
hello,
we seem to have a problem with the digital ultrasonic range finder - at first the data is recived normaly without any delays but after about 30 seconds a huge delay appears in the data. this means that we can move the robot and keep getting the old range data for about a minute. we like to know: 1. is somebody got this problem too? 2. is somebody has an idea how to fix it? 3. are we allowed to use analog IR range finder (Sharp GP2D12) or analog ultrasonic range finder (MaxSonar-EZ1) instead of the digital one. thanks, team 3089 |

Re: Sensors
I can't speak to 1 or 2, but yes, you may use any off-the-shelf rangefinder as long as you account for its cost.
