Congrats on your FIRST, when posting on delphi make sure to include details of what you need. Also links to a site or pictures makes life easier and getting answers and feedback easier.

Re: need help on Isonic® MOD3

Just trying to give you a quick response, I'm pretty sure you're referring to what is known as the festo solenoid. A post with some good responses can be found at http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...Festo+solenoid

Here is a PDF that shows you how to wire it and hook up to tubes.
http://www.festo.com/INetDomino/file...TValveAssy.pdf

That is I'm 90% sure that's a festo solenoid if not then I'm not sure

I did a quick search for the solenoid valve in question. http://www.mead-usa.com/products/detail.aspx?id=1

Now, here's the lowdown: I can only find that it uses a bus system. It looks like you'll have to make your own.

The really bad news is that unless the website is wrong, I don't think you can use it. <R71> specifies that "All included items must be “off the shelf” pneumatic devices rated by their manufacturers for pressure of at least 125psi," and the largest rating I can find is 120 PSI. <R71-C> also specifies a maximum of 1/8" NPT port diameter, and the product doesn't go that low, according to the specs.

So, you're going to need to really look closely at <R71> and compare your product to that. If it doesn't meet one of the requirements, it won't pass inspection.

Eric appears to have corrected me, I assumed you were using the solenoid from the kit.
