Attaching KoP encoders
I was just wondering how are u supose to attach the encoders found in the KoP? when attaching it to the 1/4 inch axle on the gear box i was woundering how your suppose to attach the axle to the metal hub of the encoder. Are u suppose to use tape or something or like coder pin, set screw etc. although it would destroy the hub.

Re: Attaching KoP encoders
The encoder disk is plastic, not metal. If one is a little loose on the gearbox shaft, you can just carefully squeeze the sides of the encoder "hub" a little closer to make a tight fit.

Re: Attaching KoP encoders
Get the encoder mounts from Andy-Mark if you have time. Like Alan said, I had to squeeze one of our disks to get it to stay tight on the shaft. (Squeeze before putting on the shaft).

Re: Attaching KoP encoders
so a bit of a squeeze would work? cause i'm worried if it may slip, although now that i think about it it probably wouldn't since theres nothing that would apply a force on the "hub" thanks!
