This is my first year programming and i have no idea on where to start on programming for the autonomous mode....Please help

I very, very strongly suggest that you stop and watch the Tip Jar Video Tutorials #5 through #8 (inclusive) before proceeding any further. This will give you a good minimum understanding of the basics.

#8 is about autonomous mode programming.
