FRC 2158, The ausTIN CANs, is hosting their second annual Robot Roundup at Anderson High School here in Austin, Texas on Saturday, February 14, 2009. FRC 2881, the Lady Cans, will be joining them in hosting this year. It is an all day event with practice time in the morning and the scrimmage in the afternoon. Teams will be coming in from Houston, Round Rock, and Killeen to participate in this sweetheart of an event and they'll be sure to have a good time and get a sense of how the game will be played. It will be exciting to see the teams take to the field.
We'll have a couple of rookie teams participating, including the new Girl Scout team and the team from Manor. There'll be some veterans showing up as well, to lend experience and friendly support to these rookies as they take to the ice.
Our thanks to ausTIN CANs and the Lady Cans for providing this opportunity for the central Texas area. It's much appreciated.
