Question Useing a external imput on your control board?

Is it possable to use a imput other then your two joysticks? If so how would i add that to your program. We are thinking of useing a switch or a dongle insted of haveing buttons that could be accadentaly pressed when the joysticks are in opperation. Any help would be appretatied.

Re: Useing a external imput on your control board?

The Driver Station has pins on the right side. Some of them are digital inputs. Details are in Chapter 3 Component Data Sheets of the Control System Manual (available at http://www.usfirst.org/frccontrolsystem). Look at the Driver Station palette in LabVIEW to find the VI that can read those inputs. What kind of switch do you want to connect?
