That is the coolest robot I have ever seen. I have one small question/concern, however. During our first year, we asked about splitting our numbers between two sides of the robot just like you have. We were told that would not be allowed and the team number needed to be in one piece. It looks awesome. I would just have a plan "B" for your front numbers.

On the bumper number split: Previous years' rules do not apply this year.

The rule this year is <R15>.

<R15> The judges, referees, and announcers must be able to easily identify ROBOTS by team number. Teams shall display their team number in four locations at approximately 90- degree intervals around the perimeter of the ROBOT. The numerals must be at least 4 inches high, at least in 3/4-inch stroke width and in a contrasting color from its background. Team Numbers must be clearly visible from a distance of not less than 100 feet.

Can either of you show me where it says that you a) can't split the number or b) can split the number? If not, it'll be up to the inspectors.

My personal, unofficial guess is that you can, because there is nothing saying you can't. I could be wrong.

exactly, and in that year we had inspector that said, "no." I'm just sharing my personal experience.
