NJ Regional Thanks/Congrats--2009

First of all, I would like to congratulate all teams at the NJ regional for their hard work. The new control system, wheels, and playing surface made this an especially difficult year.

A special congratulations to teams 1923, 2344, and 2753 is in order--you really showed us what a group of talented, young teams can do. You definitely deserved the win.

Team 1089--congratulations on your RCA victory. You're a great team that I have personally had the pleasure of working with over the past four years, and I couldn't have been any happier when you guys won.

Also, a big thanks to 612 and 834 for being great alliance partners.

Another big thanks goes out to team 103, who helped us throughout our season-long struggle with failing control system components. I don't think we could have made it without you, and it just showed that alliances extend beyond the field.

I would also like to thank all the volunteers, who also dealt with extremely stressful conditions. You worked harder than you ever should have had to, and you were all really great.

I would also like to give a thanks to the National Instruments representative, Joshua, that was at the regional. He was wonderful in helping us deal with our various troubles over the three days, and was always there to give us helpful hints and suggestions.
