Re: Great Human Player in 2009
Ya i am biased also but she has got to be the best sitting down I have seen all season. I dont think she has played a match standing, but she has almost perfected sitting. Which is good, cause most prefer to stand.

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
177 Also had an amazing human player, he consistently hit long range shots. That combined with their robot's fast and consistent empty cell capabilities makes them a serious threat.

That kid was dressed like an 80's basketball player and hit some unbelievable last second shots. |

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
Team 234 has a really sharp shooter this year and can get about 70% in a given match, and 365 is really good for loading their robot in auto, they can get ten or eleven by the end of autonomous.

Oops! The students told me that I was mistaken. His fun award was from Team 71. We had so much fun with all of the teams there, I got the numbers jumbled!

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
Well, I know we kept pretty much to ourselves in Michigan, but the "crazy asian kid" on 503, Frog Force, is too scary to get anywhere near to... :-)

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
I've gotta give props to 1155's HP; from what I saw at CT, he was a beast at the outpost.
You didn't want to stick around the opposing outpost for more than a couple seconds if you saw him there. I mean geez, you'd be filled up faaaassst... |

Let's not forget 2199. Two regionals - two great outings. Their HP was a Super Cell Maestro!

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
I was waiting for the TBA vids to go up to include the two last second half court super cell shots, and the throwing the empty cell across the field to 40's Human Player. That was the only time i saw a human player do that. All in eliminations.

And that full-length shot that went all 54 feet and rolled into the other airlock...that was just plain scary. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it! ![]() |

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
I say that the best human player in michigan would be team #1. He made almost all of his shots.

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
Team 1717's human player was really good from the outpost, and was excellent thoughout eliminations at Sac Regional.

Re: Great Human Player in 2009
From our scouting data, 1717 and 687 had the best human players at the regionals we attended.
