Go to Post I suggest that FIRST should include a "big red button" in the KOP next year to make everyone happy. :p - Jay H 237 [more]

Re: Great Human Player in 2009

The one big thing that i have been noticing is that there are two types of human players, smart shooters and "not smart" shooters.

The "not smart" shooters will not wait for the easier shots and instead will take half court shots. They may be really good, but they could be better if they wait for a easier shot. When they sink a couple of half court shots they get noticed.

The Smart shooters wait for the good shots. They will prey on anyone that comes near, but since they only shoot the occasional super cell bomb they never get noticed because they are not glamorous amazing shots. They fly under the radar and no one really notices unless they are keeping %.

thats my 2 cents.

Definetly, 188 kept % at GTR, and there were some good human players that flew under the rader, yet they had top %s, these (smart) types of human players are also usualy good for guiding with signals for empty cell giving/recieving.
