Fantastic Contraption Battle
Ok, so this is something I stumbled acrossed on a different site.
Rules of the game. The field is simple. The blue line in the middle represents the divider of availability for building.(build on your half) The two sides have triangles with red balls at the base. The goal is to move the opposing triangle off the side. We alternate sides. Now, the examples. Post one: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=7127227 Post two: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=7127237 Post three: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=7127256 As I've learned from the GDC, the only way to set up something like this is to leave it open to change. If I see a design that isn't within the spirit of this game, I may alter the rules. Example of bad design, a catapult that launches up high and knocks the end over would work but it would ruin it for the next person. Thus catapults are not allowed. Have fun with it. I'll enjoy watching all the different designs. |
