Top 5 Finalists of the Autodesk Inventor Design Competition announced

We are excited to announce the five finalists for the Autodesk Inventor Award Competition.

Once again the competition was fierce, with over 100 entries from several countries. The Judges would like to congratulate all teams; we are proud to see the effort and quality that everyone has put into their designs.

Congratulations to teams 103, 107, 234, 701, and 1764 for their outstanding entries.

The winner will be announced live at the Championship in Atlanta.

I wish that there was a regional CAD award - all five of these teams (and many more) deserve a trophy for their work.

Thank you all. I don't want to think about all of the hours us and the four other teams have put in and the hard work needed to be named as finalists. No matter who wins it is a great accomplishment to be selected as finalists. I hope that 234 brings home the award this year, but I also wish the best of luck to the other contenders.

I would like to say congratulations to all the teams selected for top 5 here and in animation. being the head of animation for our team and then being put in charge of our inventor department i know that it takes a lot of work and effort to do everything that needs to be done for these submissions

We are so psyched to make it to the top 5. We have never entered into the Inventor competition before. Good luck to all - they are all awesome entries. Unfortunately we won't be in Atlanta to see the announcement - but we'll be tuning in via the web and NASA TV.

After checking online it looks like most of the top 5 except for 234 won't be there either. Anyone sending representatives?
