Highest combined match score?

What was the highest combined score (sum of both alliances score) on any match you saw this year? The theoretical highest possible score (all moon rocks and super cells scored) would be 360 points. I don't think the trailers would hold that many, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, the highest combined score I saw was 205 points (103 to 102) during QF 1-1 on Curie. Anybody see a higher one?

Newton semifinal 1-2 was a major upset with the number five alliance beating the number one alliance 133 to 92 for a combined score of 225.

Re: Highest combined match score?

There were quite a few high scores on Archimedes.

My team was on the losing end of QF3-1, 106-96. Combined score 202. Just a little short of the match you cited.

A short while later, 1503/1539/1649 were on the losing end of SF2-2. 95-112. Combined score 207.

Just after that, 1114/2056/503 were on the losing end of SF1-3 98-108. Combined score 206.

I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.

Re: Highest combined match score?

The highest I saw, as mentioned in Greg's post, was all the way back in week 1. A total score of 226 at the Washington DC regional, the only match all year where both alliances scored 100+ points.

QF1-1
Red (45, 234, 620) 126
Blue (768, 1111, 122) 100

It would have happened on Archimedes in the second semifinal if the red alliance had not gotten a penalty! Without the penalty it would have been Red 105 Blue 112.
